It is not without reason that Bosman wind water mills are the most frequently seen type of wind mill in the Dutch landscape. Bosman Watermanagement has installed thousands of wind water mills since 1929, many of which are still in use. Fully-automatic water level contol is achieved using a simple float system.
The first model, type A-ford , was manufactured from 1929 to about 1960, when it was succeeded by the second model, the type V-8, manufactured untill 1977. In that same year work began on the development of the third model, the type 77.
A number of innovations and improvements were incorporated in the Bosman wind water mill in 2006, whereby special attention was devoted to the design. The improved and renewed design will be marketed under the type B4 name.
